Who We Are

Made By Mobbs is a landscape design and construction company. We are growing quickly and we need great people to help us continue to deliver for our clients.

Based in Yarraville and working throughout metropolitan Melbourne, no two days will be the same.

We specialise in the design and construction of landscapes for existing homes. We work directly with our clients to come up with a design that meets their ambitions and their budget.

We undertake all aspects of the job for our clients – from the initial design, to the build, and when appropriate, we project manage other trades to ensure the finished product meets our high standards.

We’re looking for landscapers who love what they do, take real pride in their work and are looking to help build a great team culture.

We’re going to more than double in size for the third year in a row and want you to be part of the growth story.

What We're Looking For

As an Apprentice Landscaper you’ll need to quickly develop an eye for detail, an ability to plan a job out and know that good enough is never good enough.

As an apprentice landscaper we want you to become confident and knowledgable in all aspects of landscape construction.

You’ll need to work well as part of a team. You’ll learn to make decisions, take directions and talking with clients.

Experience in any of the following areas will help you stand out:

Paving and stonework
Decking and other carpentry work
Basic brick and block laying
Welding and soldering
Laying turf
Any machine licences (excavator, bobcat, HR) would be seen as advantageous but are not necessary.

No weekend work

We work hard all week. There’s always weekend work if you want it, but the job will still be there Monday if you don’t.

We work Monday to Friday and start at 6:30 in Yarraville. If it’s easier, you can start on-site.

We’d love it if you could start immediately but also understand you might need to give some notice.

You must be able to legally work in Australia.
